The Applied Computer Security course will provide you with an in-depth understanding of basic concepts, standards, functions and applications of computer security measures.
You will learn, among other things, to:
- Identify and explain basic concepts, standards, meanings and functions in the field of computer security.
- Provide an overview of academic trends and knowledge development in computer security.
- Analyse a computer security architecture within the framework of an organisation.
- Design a computer security model in accordance with an organisation's requirements.
- Make decisions about computer security plans and procedures in accordance with an organisation's security policy.
Through lectures and assignments completed individually and in groups, you will gain theoretical knowledge and practical skills that will help you meet the challenges with computer security in an organisation's IT infrastructure.
