Today's society is becoming increasingly more interactive with complex digital product-service systems. Therefore, knowledge about how products are designed for good usability and user experience is vital.
This course deals with design of products, services, environments and/or systems with humans in focus. The course is clearly user-centered with the purpose of learning more about designing products or systems that are easy-to-use and easy to understand. The course also deals with how products can be adapted to give the user a good experience when using the product. To be sure of the effectiveness of a design on these aspects, the course also deals with how these products can be tested and evaluated to answer if the design fits the user.
