Printing and copying
As a student at LTU, you get access to our printing system. By linking your LTU card at a printer of your choice, you can scan documents and have them sent to your e-mail, retrieve prints or make copies.
Charge your print account
There are two ways to top up your account, you can either do it with a payment card directly in the print portal, or buy a voucher at Service Point which you then register in the print portal.
Charge your print balance with a payment card in the print portal:
- Go to the Papercut External link, opens in new window. print portal and log in with your student user.
- Select Add Credit and proceed as instructed in the portal.
Purchase vouchers and register in the print portal
Vouchers (50:- or 100:-) can be purchased at Service Point in Luleå, then do the following:
- Go to the printing portal Papercut External link, opens in new window. and log in with your student user.
- Click on Register voucher / Redeem card and fill in the value code found on your purchased voucher.
- Click on the Register voucher/Redeem card button

Print from your own computer
There are two ways to print from your own computer, you can either upload your document directly in the print portal or add the university's Mobility print queue to your computer.
Print with web printing
When printing with web printing, you cannot change the print settings, when selecting printers, you instead select Mob-Black-LTU for double-sided printing in black and white or Mob-Colour-LTU for double-sided printing in color.
- Log in to the Papercut print portal External link, opens in new window.
- Select Web Print from the left-hand menu.
Adding Mobility print on your own computer
Note that to use Mobility Print, you must be connected to the Eduroam wireless network.

- Select Mobility print guide in the left menu.
- Follow the instructions for the type of computer or mobile phone you have.
Frequently asked questions about printing
In order for your printout to come out in color, you must choose that it should be in color both in the program you print in, e.g. Word, and in the printer settings. When you have chosen to print, there should be a button called Printer Properties, where you can find the settings for color in the printer.
