Open courses in information literacy and writing
Explore the library’s open courses to enhance your knowledge of information retrieval, source criticism, reference management, and academic writing.
How do the courses work?
These are online, non-credit courses that are open to everyone. You will learn in a simple and fun way using texts, videos and interactive elements.You can choose to go through the whole course in one go or select parts that you need more practice on. Remember that the course is not personal. This means that the tasks you answer will disappear when you close the web window, or take a longer break. The courses are produced by the University Library.

Reading aids
If you want to have texts read aloud, you can use the program TorTalk, for example. It is a reading aid with speech synthesis. Within Luleå University of Technology it is free of charge and may be used on students' own computers.
