Based on a company’s overall business strategy, including a sustainability strategy, this course will allow students to develop marketing strategies to create competitive advantages for organizations in an industrial market.
The students will learn how to analyze the challenges and opportunities from both a micro and macroenvironmental perspective, in order to develop specific, measurable marketing objectives. This will allow them to develop strategies that contribute to meeting the overall goals of industrial companies, including sustainability goals. This can include but not be limited to environmental sustainability, social sustainability, as well as economic sustainability. More specifically, this entails developing strategies that allow students to learn more about developing sustainable ideas (products, services, brands) based on the needs and preferences of the market, as well as the company’s value-creating processes. Strategic work will focus on product/brand development, supply chain and logistics issues, pricing, as well as promotional ideas.
