Graduate School of Space Technology
The Graduate School of Space Technology (also known as the Space Research School) is a program for doctoral students in several different disciplines, all of which conduct research studies related to space technology. Luleå University of Technology bears the main responsibility for the graduate school, which started in 2001. Since then, 50 doctoral students have graduated from the graduate school.
The third round of the graduate school started in 2015 and involved 19 doctoral students.
It was run in collaboration with IRF External link. (Institute for Space Physics) and the IT External link. (Space for Innovation and Growth) initiative. Represented research topics: Atmospheric Science, Machine Elements, Materials Engineering, Product Innovation, Space Systems and Applied Physics.
