ltu.ai brings together the university's expertise in artificial intelligence. The aim is to create synergies between different research areas and act as a bridge to the surrounding society and industry.
Our applied AI activities connect research in learning, decision-making, big data analytics, edge computing, smart machines, maintenance, critical infrastructure, automation, robotics, control and cybersecurity.
Together these disciplines create an AI ecosystem, an ecosystem based on innovative business models to improve efficiency, productivity, safety, health and our overall quality of life. Taking advantage of our unique Arctic location, we are scaling up AI applications across industry sectors and demonstrating innovative opportunities in cities and remote regions.
