Through continuous reflection on the practical work during the programme, you get the tools needed to develop and deepen your knowledge.
The Theatre Academy in Luleå started in the fall of 1996 as a unique collaborative project between Luleå University of Technology and Norrbottensteatern. The school is located adjacent to Norrbottensteatern and therefore you get a natural contact with professional theater workers and practical theater work. In recent years students have carried out a major internship at the theater during the spring semester in year one.
Divided into two classes, sixteen students study at the Theater Academy at the same time. The location and size of the school allows both students and staff to work in a concentrated and calm environment.
