Performance technology and analysis
The goal is to improve athletes' training and performance by analyzing training and competition situations with modern technology. Developing and improving equipment and materials is another part of this area.
Sensorized athletes
There are small margins in elite sports and even a slight improvement in technique can have a big impact on the placement in a competition at the top world level. In skiing, you want to be able to decide which technique or "gear" that is the least energy-intensive for a person. This also depends on external conditions such as terrain and skiing. It is therefore of great importance to be able to measure the movement at the same time as measuring the athletes' heart rate and energy use. In this way, one finds the connections between movement, performance and competition conditions.
Visualization of motion data
With the help of visualization in 3D, the audience can get an overview of the course and how the competitiors ski. Skiing can be visualized during training and competition by showing where the athlete is, how the arms and legs move and showing other body values such as heart rate, respiration, blood sugar and more. This can be done in real time for active followers and a general audience or after the training/competition to show this both to the practitioner himself and to other interested parties. Furthermore, the same data can be visualized via glasses with augmented reality so that the skier will receive feedback on their own performance in real time. With the help of this data, exercisers can also train and compete virtually with other skiers.
