A large part of the laboratory's activities includes strength testing of various structural mechanical components in concrete, steel or other materials. MCE Lab has several fixed load rigs with capacities from 5 to 450 tons. Furthermore, there are several loose load cylinders that can be mounted in flexible load rigs for testing larger components.
