Decision making at work applications
How do factors such as typing errors affect a personal letter when you are looking for a job?
Venla Nikula uses the Depict Lab for my C-essay. I research how writing errors and familiarity bias affect one's decision-making when reading job applications, more specifically just personal letters.
To investigate this, I have conducted an experiment using the eye tracking technique. With the help of eye tracking, she was able to analyze what test subjects watched as they read the personal letter and how many test subjects focused on writing errors and words that tested familiarity.
