Schedule

A timetable is drawn up for each quarter, four times per academic year.

The timetable must be ready at least ten working days before the start of the course. No changes should be made to the schedule after that time. Exceptions can be made if the change is due to course administration reasons or to create better conditions for your learning.

If changes to the schedule are necessary, they may only be made after consultation with you and other course participants. It is the teacher in charge of the course who is responsible for informing you about schedule changes.

Schedules are available in a system called TimeEdit. Schedules are provisional until 10 working days before the start of the course.

Timetable and division of the academic year

The academic year is divided into two semesters, each semester is divided into two study periods.

  1-2 weeks before the exam period starts, the time and venue for your course will be published.
  

The exam schedule is published every six months.

• Periods 1 and 2 are published in June.
• Periods 3 and 4 are published in November.
• The August re-examination period is published in April.

There are several programs in Luleå and Piteå that have a module schedule with fixed schedule positions. You can see the courses module division in the course offering for program students.

Courses in the same module involve schedule clashes, which means that they cannot be read at the same time.
