MCE Laboratory – Tests and measurements
Our the largest laboratory is used by five different research subjects.
Mining and Civil Engineering Lab is the largest laboratory at Luleå University of Technology and have a wide range of activities. Mostly we do:
- Mechanical testing on steel, wood and concrete
- Rockmechanical testing
- Geotechnical testing
- Outdoor measurements
- Analyses and enquiries
About half the activity at testlab is directly linked to research projects and education programs at the university. The rest of the activity is external jobs, done directly or indirectly for external companies.
