Information for invited guests

The University invites a number of internal and external guests to this year's Academic ceremony, 8 November 2025. The invitation will be sent out in early September.

More detailed information will be published as the event approaches.

Invitation

Invitations to internal and external guests will be sent out in early September and the last day of registration is usually in the end of September.

New doctors, honorary doctors, professors and adjunct professors also have the opportunity to invite a certain number of paying guests to the ceremony and banquet as well as extra guests to the ceremony in Kulturens hus.

Ceremony and banquet

The event consists of a ceremony at Kulturens hus in Luleå city center, followed by a banquet at the university campus with a three-course dinner, entertainment and speeches.
