New hydrogen compendium from Luleå University of Technology
Free download for anyone who wants to understand industrial hydrogen technology
Luleå University of Technology launches a comprehensive compendium on hydrogen technology with a focus on industrial applications. The material is now freely available via DiVA at no cost and with open use possibilities.
Hydrogen plays a key role in the green transition, but much of the knowledge available today revolves around the transportation sector. The new compendium, written by a group of researchers at Luleå University of Technology and Umeå University, takes a different approach. It focuses on how hydrogen can be used in industrial processes from steel production to the chemical industry.
"We hope that the compendium will be a valuable support for anyone working with or teaching industrial hydrogen technology. By making it freely available, we want to help accelerate the development and implementation of hydrogen technology in industry," says Rikard Gebart, who has led the work and also participated in the writing.
The compendium covers everything from basic principles to system integration and safety aspects. It is written to be useful both in teaching and as a reference for professionals.
