Interdisciplinary databases

• Academic Search Premier (LTU)
  A multidisciplinary research database.
• Scopus (LTU)
  A reference database that provides abstracts and citations for scholarly articles. It covers subjects in science, engineering, medicine, social sciences, arts and humanities.
  
• Web of Science (LTU)
  Multidisciplinary reference and citation database containing scientific articles and conference proceedings. Allows you to search and perform analyses based on cited publications.
  

Databases in languages and literature

• Africa-focused e-resources
  Access e-books, newspapers, journals, bibliographies, and fiction, primarily in the social sciences. Among the databases is SA Media, which includes over 120 South African newspapers. Researchers and students at LTU can apply for access to these e-resources through the Nordic Africa Institute.
• MLA International bibliography (LTU)
  Reference database in literature, language, linguistics, film, rhetoric, and folklore.
• JSTOR (LTU)
  Full-text archive of scientific journals in many subject areas. The most recent years are usually not available.
• Project MUSE (LTU)
  E-journals in the humanities and social sciences.
• UR Access (LTU)
  Lectures and TV and radio programmes from the Swedish Educational Broadcasting Company. Available in Swedish.

  Open access, peer-reviewed scientific journals in various subject areas.

• Barnbokskatalogen
  Descriptions of the content of children's and young adult books published in Swedish. Available in Swedish.

  Research and publications on words, dialects, and folklore. Available in Swedish.
• Norrbottensförfattare
  Biographies of authors available from libraries in Norrbotten. Available in Swedish.

  Classics from many countries, both full text and audio files.

  Linguistic resources and tools for Swedish, freely accessible online for researchers and the general public.
• Subdatabases in LIBRIS
  Search in the sub-databases Bothnica, BULB, Swedish Historical Bibliography, Swedish Jewish Bibliography, and Swedish Sami Bibliography.
• Swedish classics
  The Swedish Academy's series of Swedish classics. Available in Swedish.
• The History of Nordic Women´s Literature
  One thousand years of Nordic women's literary history, featuring articles, themes, and author portraits.
• The National Centre for Swedish as a Second Language
  Resource and development center focused on teaching and research in Swedish as a second language (SFI – Swedish for Immigrants).
