Artistic publications

Luleå University of Technology applies a financial publication support system within the framework of its internal resource allocation. The publication support is allocated to the departments based on the publication of scientific journal articles and artistic publications.

Artistic publications are reviewed annually. Similar to the assessment of scientific journal articles, it is the context—rather than the quality of the publication itself—that is evaluated to determine whether the publication qualifies for financial support. Unlike scientific publications, artistic publications are not subject to grading or tiering; instead, a flat rate of publication support is applied.
