Getting started
Before you start your thesis, you must have the required prior knowledge. In each course syllabus you will find the exact requirements for starting the degree project.
When you have a good proposal for a thesis, you should submit the form "Application for thesis" together with a clear description of the work including a rough timetable. If you want to discuss your proposal before submitting a full application, you can contact the course contact person, also the responsible course leader (see the respective course plan).
Confidentiality
If the thesis is to be covered by confidentiality, an agreement must be drawn up in advance between the parties involved. For further information, please contact SRT education administration edusrt@ltu.se.
Implementation

Presentation and opposition
Presentation periods can be found on the page presentation
For registration, see registration for presentation of thesis Pdf, 71.9 kB.
If the course is not there, it is probably because the registration and organization of presentation and opposition is done in another way. In that case, contact the course contact person according to the course plan.
Approval
Use the form Approval of thesis where your supervisor fills in that you have participated in the compulsory elements and grades the course.
Registration and publication
Before grades are registered, the thesis must be registered and published on DiVA External link..
Printing
The department pays for printing for 1 copy for the author. Use the order form for printing of the thesis Pdf, 64 kB.
Degree
Remember to apply for a degree when you have finished your education. You do this on "My LTU" under degree. There are instructions to follow.
