ICD and ICF are international classification systems for diseases and health.
ICD
The International Classification of Diseases (ICD) is an international standard for a diagnostic classification system. It is used to classify diseases and other health problems, as well as for death certificates and patient records. In addition to enabling the storage and use of diagnostic information for clinical and epidemiological purposes, the data also provide a basis for the compilation of national cause of death records and morbidity statistics within the World Health Organisation (WHO) Member States.

ICF
ICF, the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health, (international classification of functional status, disability and health), is a classification of health and health-related areas. The ICF is divided into three lists: a list of the body's functions, one of the body's structure and a list of areas of activity and participation. Since an individual function and disability occurs in a particular context, the ICF also includes a list of environmental factors.
