Christian Holmberg Sjöling, English and Education
My thesis project focuses on upper secondary school teachers' assessment of the written part of the national test in English in relation to the Swedish National Agency for Education's expectations. Elin Ruth, English and Education
My research interest concerns the benefits and challenges of collaborative writing in English in school years 4–6 (learners aged 10–12). My research area concerns the role of emotions in pedagogy and teaching. In my thesis project, I work with basic research that highlights the breadth, importance and scope of different types of emotions to understand how they affect teaching.
Moa Frid, Education
My research interest is based on questions about teaching in preschool. After the teaching mission in the preschool curriculum was clarified a few years ago, there is uncertainty about how teaching should be done within the framework of preschool education. In my dissertation work, I explore together with active educators from preschool how teaching takes place in preschool practices.
Helena Strand, History
My research interest concerns pupils’ and students’ encounters with historical sources in local archives and how these encounters influence their learning and perceptions of history. My research project also explores history teachers’ possibilities to adopt place-based pedagogical methods and how perceptions of historical sources in teaching have changed over time.
