Chemical technology
We develop membranes, adsorbents and catalysts to reduce energy use in the chemical industry and enable competitive production from renewable raw materials.
We also work with basic materials studies and process development to improve the quality of chemical products. We strongly contribute to The Master Programme in Sustainable Process Engineering. Chemical technology includes the design and analysis of industrial chemical processes and products through experimental and theoretical studies. Of particular importance are materials development for chemical engineering applications.
The subject has since 1994 produced 20 doctoral dissertations and now consists of about 10 senior researchers and as many graduate students.
Research
World-leading research on zeolite membranes.
LUMIA
We are part of LUMIA, which is a merger of four laboratories that conduct microanalysis of various solid materials in 2D/3D/4D.
Doctoral studies
Third cycle studies an Research School.
