Construction Management and Building Technology
Our research topic includes research and education in technical solutions, tools, methods and organisation for planning, information management and control of a sustainable and integrated industrial construction process with associated business processes. Core competences are in the areas of digitalisation, management, production and sustainability.
Digitalization – Digital models and platforms, optimization, computational design, virtual reality, and information management to enable design and production of a sustainable built environment.
Management – Procurement strategies, management principles, and sustainable and circular business models to enable an innovative and sustainable built environment.
Production – Production, supply chain, industrialization, and information management to support streamline of processes, enhance productivity, and catalyze a sustainable, cost-effective built environment.
Sustainability – Techniques and methods to support reduced climate impact and energy use of buildings from a life-cycle perspective; and their implementation beyond demonstration/pilot projects.
