Cyber-Physical Systems
The current research focus is on two specific areas:
Systems of systems: Targeting fundamentals of how to architect, design, engineer and operate complex automation and digitalisation solutions using a microsystem and microservice paradigm. The results have sofar materialised as the Eclipse Arrowhead architecture and implementation platform.
Electronics and software integration: Targeting integration ranging from high density electronics interconnect at circuit board level, chiplets design and interconnect, computational hardware integration to microsystem and microservice paradigm. Enabling integration and interoperability from electronics production processes, electronics computational paradigms, to microsystem and microservice software.
