Energy Engineering
The subject concerns the development of technologies and processes in order to build a sustainable energy supply. The research focuses on bioenergy technologies and energy efficiency in industry and society.
In our activities, we combine work at systems/components level with detailed studies of the energy conversion process. The research is often conducted in collaboration with companies, governmental organizations, policymakers, and other interested parties, as well as, perhaps first and foremost, with colleagues from industry, various universities, and research institutes. We participate for example in the following centers / large research environments: Bio4Energy External link., Trees For Me

We offer a varied range of courses covering anything from basic thermodynamic processes to more advanced applications. Our courses are chiefly aimed at students in the Sustainable Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Economics and Electrification Master Programme, but they can also be studied by other students with a suitable educational background.
Our research and education combine science with industrial experience and practice. Our engineers and research results create a sustainable future.
