AquaClim webinar on source-separating wastewater systems and water reuse for sustainable water and wastewater planning
Join us for a lunch webinar on 16 November 2026, 12:00–13:00 CET!
Letty Mora, AquaClim PhD student at Luleå University of Technology within Stormwater&Sewers (Dag&Nät), will present her research on how source-separating wastewater systems can support urban development while reducing the need to expand conventional sewer networks.
Using life cycle assessment, Letty has explored the environmental potential of these systems. During the webinar, she will share her findings and discuss how they can inform more sustainable water and wastewater planning.
The webinar is organised by AquaClim. Also participating is Shruti Jagtap, KTH / VA-kluster Mälardalen, who will present research on reclaimed water reuse in Sweden.
Programme highlights:
- Source-separating wastewater systems as an alternative to sewer network expansion. Letty Mora, LTU and Stormwater&Sewers, will present findings from a life cycle assessment focusing on environmental impacts.
- Reclaimed water reuse in Sweden. Shruti Jagtap, KTH and VA-kluster Mälardalen, will explore the opportunities, benefits and challenges of using treated wastewater for purposes that do not require drinking water quality.
- Questions and shared discussion.
Please share this invitation with anyone who may be interested!
Register for the webinar by November 13.
An Outlook invitation containing the Zoom link will be sent to everyone who has registered by this date.
