Productive 4.0
Productive 4.0 was a massive research project with 109 partners involved and a budget of 100 million euros. The aim was to create a user platform across value chains and industries, thus promoting the digital networking of manufacturing companies, production machines and products. Luleå University of Technology CPS role was leading the common information exchange architecture (WP-1).
The result was the release of Eclipse Arrowhead framework, an IT/OT architecture implementation platform which assists in optimizing industrial processes, www.arrowhead.eu External link..
Productive 4.0 also played a key role in the digitalisation of Europe’s industry, thus winning the Technology Pioneer Award 2021.
