Courses in metal processing

As a student in the Master programs Materials Science & Engineering (EEIGM) and Mechanical Engineering, as well as the master program AMASE at Luleå University of Technology, it is possible to study courses in the field of metal processing where the need for engineers is large.

The initiative to produce a course package in metal processing comes from the swedish industry. They see that today's newly graduated engineers lack the proper focus on their education for working in the future steel industry.

For students in mechanical engineering it is primarily about being able to analyze and simulate metal processing. When it comes to students in materials engineering (EEIGM and AMASE), it is about broadenings the knowledge in materials engineering and the metalworking.
