Rock mass strength
With the rock mass strength refers to how strong and how much load the rock can withstand before it fails. The knowledge of the rock mass load-carrying capability is important when designing such tunnels, mines, nuclear waste storage, ice rinks - yes, all types of underground facilities.
There is currently no method to assess the rock mass strength that meets an accomplished applicable method. To develop such a needed sensitivity analysis, field and literature studies concerning the rock mass strength.
By studying the tunnels and mines where the rock went in crime can be calculated strength of the method compared and correlated with the measured strength of the rock mass.
