Spin the thread
Re-spinning the thread from recycled fiber is a project that focuses on the sustainable consumption of cotton by recycling cotton in a new way.
The aim is to create conditions for a more sustainable consumption of cotton through new recycling technologies. This is done by being able to mechanically recycle cotton textiles with significantly improved fiber quality together with the dissemination of knowledge about the actual costs of textile consumption. The goal is to eventually reduce conventionally grown cotton in favour of recycled cotton and enable the transition to a circular textile industry.
