Most of the research projects are conducted in collaboration with industrial stakeholders, research institutes and universities within and outside of Sweden.
A significant proportion of the research is also carried out with the help of the lab, pilot and operating equipment available from our industrial partners.

Transforming mining residues to valuable products (stage II) or Residue2Product-II project aims at developing and optimizing a novel combined recycling process for pyrite tailings and waste gypsum. Products such as lime, sulphur/sulphur dioxide and iron powder are produced.
